Ballet Ambassadors
This video shows how we teach the "Nutcracker" to up to 200 students in one school day. We work our magic with other ballets as well. For 2010, our spring production is the beloved classic, "Swan Lake." Recession buster pricing is still in effect! Call 212.600.0018 or e-mail admin@balletambassadors.org for details.

The mission of Ballet Ambassadors is to give children in schools, afterschool programs, and homeless shelters the chance to take the stage in costumed adaptations of the ballet classics, original ballets, and world dance productions.

Around the World in Dance – an multi-week residency tied into the social studies curriculum. Children learn indigenous dance forms to music from each of the six habitable continents and participate in a costumed performance.

Swan Lake – a schoolday event that is a residency and an assembly rolled into one. Up to eight classes, any grade or grades from K to 5, participate in morning workshops and dance the same afternoon in a charming, fully costumed adaptation of the beloved ballet classic.
